Chicken Empanada recalled due to Misbranding and Undeclared Allergen

Rajbhog Foods (NJ), Inc. is facing a public health alert issued by the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) for its frozen Chicken Curry Empanadas. The alert is due to misbranding and an undeclared allergen, as the product may contain Apple Cinnamon Empanadas, which include milk.The product in question is:
- The 9.6-oz. packages of "bettergoods TRADITIONALLY CRAFTED Chicken Curry Empanadas"
- With a "BEST BY" date of either 05/21/26 or 05/22/26
- Establishment number "P33967" on the side of the box.
- These items were produced on November 14, 2024
- Packaged on November 20 and 21, 2024
-Were distributed to Walmart locations nationwide.
Consumers are advised to not consume the product and to return it to where they purchased it.
