Citgo Ledgeview Express, located in the Town of Taycheedah, is recalling their 20-pound bagged ice. The recall is due to potential contamination of the ice with E. coli. As of now, there have been no reported illnesses in connection with this recall.The contamination was discovered during routine sampling conducted by the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection's Bureau of Meat and Poultry Businesses. The tests revealed a positive detection of coliform and E. coli on the establishment's ice machine.
The recall only affects
- 20-pound Bagged Ice.
- Sold prior to April 19, 2024
The 10-pound bagged ice sold by the establishment is not included in this recall.
Consumers who have purchased this product are urged not to consume it, should discard it immediately, and return the ice where was purchase.
