Clasen Quality Chocolate Inc has voluntarily initiated a recall of several of its products due to potential salmonella contamination. The recall affects products distributed in California, Georgia, Iowa, Illinois, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Utah, and Washington.The products involved in the recall include:
1. Milk Chocolate Flavored, with a total of 18,800 lbs. recalled.
2. Snow White Chocolate, with a total of 178,460 lbs. recalled.
3. Milk Chocolate Flavored, with a total of 474,120 lbs. recalled.
4. White Chocolate Wafer, with a total of 74,050 lbs. recalled.
5. White Wafer, with a total of 38,675 lbs. recalled.
6. Milk Chocolate Flavored IC Coating, with a total of 2,667,280 lbs. recalled.
7. Milk Chocolate Crunch Bulk OTBD, with a total of 844,740 lbs. recalled.
8. Milk Chocolate Flavored Confectionery Coating Bulk (MB), with a total of 87,045 lbs. recalled.
9. Milk Chocolate Wafer, with a total of 30 lbs. recalled.
10. Caramel Flavored Confectionery Drop, with a total of 1 lb. recalled.

Like the Grande Ingredients recall, this one also likely impacts tons of companies all over the country. And they’ll take their time recalling products, if they do at all. These large-scale ingredient for retail and manufacturing recalls are pretty terrifying.
