1 year ago source foodstandards.gov.au

Recall notice

Victoria, Australia

Concordia Traders Pty Ltd (Australia) is conducting a recall of Enoki Mushrooms due to incorrect use by/best before date resulting in an increased Listeria monocytogenes risk. The product has been available for sale at Asian Grocery Stores in Victoria.

- Concordia Traders Enoki Mushrooms. Date markings: Use By/Best Before 20/07/2023

Food Standards Australia & New Zealand recommends avoid consuming this product and return the products to the place of purchase for a full refund.

Listeria monocytogenes may cause severe illness in pregnant women, unborn babies, neonates, the elderly, and immunocompromised individuals. The general population can also become ill from consuming food contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.

In case you or a loved one are experiencing Listeria monocytogenes symptoms such as high fever, severe headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain, and diarrhea, it is important to report it. It can help to detect & resolve outbreaks early and prevent others from being harmed, and it enables better surveillance. If symptoms persist, seek medical care.
