Country Eggs, LLC has announced a recall of multiple brown egg brands due to potential salmonella contamination. The affected products were distributed to 11 consignees in California and Nevada. The recall is voluntary and was initiated by the firm.Recalled products include:
- Nagatoshi Large AA Brown Omega-3 (1 dozen cartons)
- Nijiya Large AA Brown Golden Yolk (1 dozen cartons)
- Mizuho Large AA Brown Omega-3 Cage (1 dozen cartons)
- Country Eggs Large AA Brown Sunshine Yolk (15-dozen bulk loose)
The affected lots have Sell By dates from July 1 through September 18, 2025, with approximately 81,542 dozen eggs involved in the recall.
The issue was identified through routine testing, leading to the recall being classified as Class I. The recall was initiated on August 26, 2025, and classified on October 3, 2025. The recall remains ongoing.
