Dough Boys Limited is recalling a specific batch of its Daily Bread brand Traditional Hot Cross Buns due to potential contamination with foreign matter, specifically glass. The issue was discovered during routine quality control checks. The product is sold at Farro Fresh Stores throughout the Auckland region. The company has confirmed that the product has not been exported and that the recall does not affect any other Daily Bread brand products.The product in question is:
- The Daily Bread brand Traditional Hot Cross Buns
- Sold in a 6 pack.
- The buns are packaged in a 250g cardboard box
- With a best before date of 10th April 2025.
- The product's UPC and batch details have not been disclosed.
- According to the company, 22 packets of the affected batch have been sold.
