Darna Tahini recalled due to Undeclared Allergen

Aytac Foods Distribution Limited is recalling Darna Tahini after identifying the possible presence of peanuts that are not declared on the product label. The product has been distributed in the UK, and the undeclared allergen may pose a health risk to consumers with a peanut allergy.The recalled product is:
- Darna Tahini 100% Ground Sesame Paste
- Sold in 800g packs
- With batch code 250103
- A best-before date of 20 April 2027.
The recall was initiated due to allergen labelling issues. Aytac Foods Distribution Limited has contacted the relevant allergy support organisations as part of the recall process. The recall was last updated on 4th February 2026.
