Del Rancho Chicharrones autenticos - recalled due to ineligible country of import

The FSIS announced the recall of approximately 1,271 pounds of ready-to-eat (RTE) pork chicharrones by Del Valle Import and Export, LLC, because they were imported from Honduras, a country ineligible to export pork products to the US. This product was shipped to distributors and retail locations in Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Texas. There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of this productThe recalled product is:
- 100g foil pouch packages containing "DEL RANCHO CHICHARRONES AUTENTICOS 100% PRODUCTO DE CERDO.". It does not bear an establishment number nor a USDA mark of inspection.
FSIS is concerned that some products may be in consumers' pantries. Consumers who have purchased this product are urged not to consume it.
