DJ’s Boudain LLC Sausage Products recalled due to Possible Foreign Matter Contamination

D.J.'s Boudain, LLC, a Texas-based company, is recalling approximately 17,720 pounds of Boudain sausage link products due to potential foreign matter contamination. The products were distributed to Louisiana, Mississippi, and Texas in the United States. The issue was discovered following a consumer complaint about finding a piece of a pen in the Original Boudain sausage links product. There has been one reported oral injury associated with the consumption of this product.The recalled products are:
- Fresh and frozen boudain sausage link items
- Produced on January 23, 2025.
- They bear the establishment number "EST. 13246" inside the USDA mark of inspection.
