Donegal Catch has issued a recall for its 4 Atlantic Fillets in a Barbeque Spiced Marinade due to may contain peanut residue in the garlic powder which is not declared in the list of ingredients. The product has been distributed nationwide in Ireland. The issue was discovered when peanut residue was found in the garlic powder used in the marinade. This could pose a risk to consumers with peanut allergies or intolerances.The product in question is:
- Donegal Catch 4 Atlantic Fillets in a Barbeque Spiced Marinade.
- The sizes and weights vary
- The affected batches are L22024304 (SNFIIR), L22024326 (SN), and L22024352 (SN).
- The batches have best-before dates of September, October, and November 2025 respectively.
Consumers who are allergic are advised to not consume the product and to return it to where they purchased it.
