The New York’s Department of Agriculture and Markets announced the recall of “Fofana Okra Powder,” imported and distributed by Fofana Inc, located in the Bronx, New York 10457 due to undeclared peanut. The product isimported from Ghana and was sold in retail stores in New York State.
The recalled “Fofana Okra Powder” is packaged in a 17.5 ounce plastic jar and bears a bar code: “681565453427”.
If you have an allergy to peanuts do not eat it, it may cause a serious or life-threatening reaction. Please throw it away or return it to the place of purchase. No illnesses have been reported to date to this Department in connection with this product.
