Fortune cookies recalled due to undeclared allergens

New World Company has voluntarily recalled its fortune cookies due to undeclared allergens, specifically wheat and soy. The products were distributed from wholesale to retail level within California.

The recalled products include a bulk case of fortune cookies, labeled as 6 lb (1.3 lb per bag/ 4 bags per case), 1 lb plastic retail bags of fortune cookies, and individually wrapped fortune cookies in a 6lb case, 190 pcs/case. The total quantity of the recalled products is approximately 600-700 lbs. The status of the recall is ongoing.
