    Mutual Trading Co., Inc. of El Monte, CA is recalling 60 fl oz of Kagome Worcester Sauce, 10 fl oz of Kagome Chuno sauce, and 8g of Kagome Take out Tonkatsu Sauce because the package labels contain undeclared soy allergen. People who have an allergy or severe... See More sensitivity to soy allergen run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products. The products were distributed in Arizona, California, Hawaii, Louisiana, Maryland, New York, Texas, and Washington D.C. mainly through restaurants and some retail stores until 3/16/2023. No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with this issue.

    The recalled products are:
    - Kagome Worcester Sauce is in a 60 fl oz plastic bottle, UPC code is 7676451130, and lot code is 2024.5.26 or before this date.
    - Kagome Chuno Sauce is in a 10 fl oz plastic bottle, UPC code is 76764423003, and lot code is 2024.4.28 or before this date.
    - Kagome Take out Tonkatsu Sauce is in a 8g plastic bag, and UPC code is 072546242749, and lot code is 2023.7.29 or before this date.

    The recall was initiated after it was discovered that the product containing soy was distributed in packaging that did not declare the presence of soy. Subsequent investigation indicates the problem was caused by missing to indicate soy from a 2nd derived ingredient. Mutual Trading Co., Inc immediately responded to this issue and has already taken action to stop sales and distribution of the affected products.

    Consumers who have purchased the product are urged to return them to the place of purchase for a full refund.

    - comments: found low-temperature dish machine sanitizing solution at 0 ppm while in use. Instructed manager to provide an adequate sanitizing concentration for sanitizing the dishes per the manufacturer's instructions. Low-temperature dish machine tagged and held for inspection by cdph; instructed manager to no longer utilize said dish machine until it is adequately sanitized and is re-inspected by cdph.     - comments: found bulk containers of soy sauce and corn starch stored directly on the floor. Instructed manager to elevate 6 inches off of the floor.

    Lemonland Food Corp of Kent, Washington initiated a recall of seasoned fisheries and seasoned vegetable products because they may contain undeclared soy, wheat, sesame, peanut, walnut, milk, crab, shrimp, and fish. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to those allergens run the risk of serious... See More or life-threatening allergic reactions if they consume this product. The firm distributed un-labeled plastic containers in 6oz, 8oz, 12oz, and 16 oz to H-mart, G-mart, and M2M retail stores in Washington between 2/16/23 and 2/23/23. No illnesses or deaths have been reported to date.

    Those containers were labeled with H-mart, G-mart, or M2M white adhesive labels and the allergens may have not been declared properly. Consumers could have purchased these affected products from stores between 2/16/23 and 2/23/23.

    The allergens mis-labeling issue was discovered during the inspection by the Washington State Department of Agriculture (WSDA) on February 22, 2023. The firm has stopped producing, re-packing, and distributing since February 23, 2023, and will resume operation when the new labels are available.

    Customers with an allergy to any allergens mentioned above and have purchased the affected product at H-mart or G-mart stores are urged not to consume the product and dispose of it or return it to their place of purchase for a full refund.
