    May 19, 2022 - It is possible to get food poisoning from sushi. Salmonella, vibrio, listeria, and parasites are among the risks associated with eating raw fish and raw seafood. In December 2019 Fuji Food Products Inc. recalled ready to eat sushi, salads and spring rolls due to potential listeria contamination.

    A South London Japanese restaurant has temporarily closed after inspectors found cockroaches near to where sushi was prepared.

    The inspector found that a sheet with details about ingredients which could cause an allergic reaction was incomplete. Meanwhile staff couldn’t list the allergens in satay sauce.
