Update June 23rd, 2026:The Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI) has issued an update to the French brie recall, correcting the affected use-by date for the recalled batch of Traditional Cheese Company French Brie (160g).

- Correct Use-by Date: 10/07/2026
This update replaces the previously reported use-by date of 17/07/2026 for this product.

Dunnes Stores and Traditional Cheese Company have issued a recall for specific batches of their French brie products due to the presence of Listeria monocytogenes. The affected products were distributed in retail locations in Ireland, where recall notices will be displayed.

PRODUCT: Traditional Cheese Company French Brie

- Use-by dates: 17/07/2026
The issue was identified during routine testing. The recall was announced on June 19, 2026, and is classified as a Category 1 alert, requiring immediate action.
