Fresh Start Produce Sales Inc. has issued a recall for its Fresh Cucumbers due to a potential Salmonella contamination. The cucumbers were distributed through Harris Teeter stores in the United States. The issue was discovered when Fresh Start Produce Sales Inc. was notified by its supplier, Bedner Growers Inc., of the potential contamination. Harris Teeter has since removed the affected products from its shelves.The recall specifically targets UPC/Products:
- Cucumbers - UPC 20406200000
- Large Vegetable Tray - UPC 7203689327
- Small Vegetable Tray - UPC 7203689328
Consumers are advised not to consume the cucumbers and to return them to where they were purchased.
