Freskos Smoked Trout products recalled due to Listeria Presence

Food company "G. PANAGIOTOPOULOS I. BAKATSIAS OE. FISH CULTURE" has initiated a recall of its trout products due to the presence of the pathogenic microorganism Listeria monocytogenes. The recall was triggered following an investigation by the Food Hygiene Department of the Directorate of the Athens Veterinary Center of the FSA. The issue was discovered following a complaint submitted to the E.F.E.T.The recalled products include
PRODUCT 1:
- Smoked Karpenisiou Trout (fillet)
- Trade name "fresco"
- Production date from 23.01.2024 to 10.04.2024 (expiration date from 22.05.2024 to 08.08.2024).
PRODUCT 2:
- Smoked Marinated Trout of Karpenisi (fillet)
- Trade name "fresco"
- Production date from 24.01.2024 to 09.04.2024 (expiration date from 21.08.2024 to 05.11.2024).
PRODUCT 3:
- Smoked Trout of Karpenisi (whole)"
- Trade name "fresco"
- Production date from 24.01.2024 to 28.03.2024 (expiration date from 22.07.2024 to 24.09.2024).
If you have this product at home, do not consume it and return it to the store where it was purchased.
