The CFIA announced the recall of Frozen All White Meat Fully Cooked Diced Chicken by Erie Meat Products Ltd due to possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination. There have been no reported illnesses associated with the consumption of this product.The recalled product is:
- Frozen All White Meat Fully Cooked Diced Chicken, 4.54 kg (2 x 2.27 kg), UPC: 8 29810 93710 4, Best Before 22 AL 28
Retailers, distributors, manufacturers, and foodservice establishments such as hotels, restaurants, cafeterias, hospitals and nursing homes should not serve, use or sell this product.
This product was distributed in Alberta, British Columbia, Newfoundland and Labrador, Ontario, Prince Edward Island, Quebec, Saskatchewan, possibly nationwide in Canada.
Do not eat the recalled product, throw it away or returned it to the place of purchase.
