Khee Trading, Inc., a Compton, CA-based company and Ocean Group Inc., a Los Angeles-based company, have issued a recall for its frozen half-shell oysters due to potential Norovirus contamination. The product, imported from Korea, was distributed across multiple states, including California. The recall was initiated following reports of illnesses potentially linked to the consumption of these oysters.The recalled product is:
- Branded as KR-15-SP, a frozen half-shell oyster.
- The batch under recall is Lot: B250130.
- The product has a harvest date of January 30, 2025.
- Item Code: 308010
Consumers are advised not to consume the product and to return it to where they purchased it.
