December 1st, 2025:
Genepro Protein, Inc. has initiated a voluntary recall of its Genepro Whey 4th Generation Plasma Treated Protein due to mislabeling. The product, which fails to declare milk as an allergen, was distributed across multiple states in the United States including AL, AR, AZ, CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, IA, IL, IN, MA, MD, MN, MO, MS, NC, ND, NH, NJ, NM, NV, NY, OH, OK, OR, PA, RI, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, VT, WA, WY.
The recalled product is:
- Genepro Whey 4th Generation Plasma Treated Protein
- Unflavored
- Packaged in a resealable mylar bag
- With a net weight of 225g and 30 servings.
- It bears the UPC 850053365126
- Lot number 250214
- With a best-by date of February 13, 2027.
- A total of 250 bags are affected.
The recall was initiated on November 12, 2025, after the issue was discovered through internal review. The recall is ongoing, and the product has not yet been classified by the relevant authorities.
