Recall notice

Gilmours brand Beef Stock & Bouillon recalled due to undeclared allergen

7 months ago source mpi.govt.nz business

13 Simsey Place, Hamilton, 3200 Waikato, New Zealand

Foodstuffs Own Brands Ltd has issued a recall for a specific batch of its Gilmours brand Beef Stock & Bouillon due to the presence of an undeclared allergen, gluten. The product is distributed at Gilmours Hamilton. The issue was discovered during routine testing, which revealed the presence of gluten in the product.

The product in question is:
- The Gilmours brand Beef Stock & Bouillon
- Sold in a 2.6kg plastic tub.
- The batch code is 2503069
- With a best before date of 29MAR26.
- The recall does not affect any other Gilmours brand products.

Customers are asked to check the date mark on the lid of the product. Customers with a gluten allergy or intolerance should return the product to their retailer for a full refund.

In case you experience harm from allergens or undeclared ingredients, it is important to report it. It can help to detect & resolve issues and prevent others from being harmed, and it enables better surveillance. If symptoms persist, seek medical care.
