Gourmet Végétarien Hummus products - Notice not to consume due to Listeria

The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (MAPAQ), in collaboration with the Food Inspection Division of the City of Montreal and the company Gourmet Végé, located at 556 , avenue Meloche, in Dorval , warns the public not to consume certain Gourmet Végétarien hummus, because these products are likely to contain the bacterium Listeria monocytogenes. These products were sold in several establishments in the province of Quebec. No illnesses have been reported to the MAPAQ to date.
The affected products are:
- Gourmet Végétarien Hummus Classique, 240 g, Lot 120701, Expiration date: 16AU22
- Gourmet Végétarien Hummus Piment Rôti, 240 g, Lot 120703, Expiration date: 16AU22
- Gourmet Végétarien Baba Ghanouj, 240 g, Lot 120705, Expiration date: 16AU22
These products were packaged in clear plastic containers and sold chilled. The label of the products includes, in addition to their denominations, the mention “Végétarien Gourmet”.
If you have the affected products in your home, please do not eat them, throw them away or return them to the place of purchase.
