The FDA announced the recall of Egg Salad Sandwich by Great American Deli due to the potential to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. There have been no reported illnesses linked to this recall to date.

FDA advises not to consume this product and return them to the place of purchase for a refund. The recalled products were distributed to convenience stores, micro markets and vending machines in WI, IA, IL, MO, KS, AR, LA, TX, MS, AL, FL, TN, SC, NC, KY, VA, WV, OH, IN, MI, and PA.
