Publix Super Markets, Inc. has voluntarily recalled its GreenWise Pear, Kiwi, Spinach & Pea Baby Food due to potential lead contamination. The product, produced by Bowman Andros LLC, was distributed to Publix grocery stores across eight states: Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, and Kentucky.The issue was identified through routine sampling, and the recall is being carried out with the knowledge of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
The recalled product is:
- The GreenWise Pear, Kiwi, Spinach & Pea Baby Food
- Sold in 4-ounce plastic pouches.
- The product carries the GTIN 41415-00901
- Has a best-before date of 11/01/2025.
Consumers are advised not to consume the product and to return it to where they purchased it.
