Marché Lambert et Frères inc. (IGA Extra) has issued a recall for all varieties of ground beef and veal due to potential metal and plastic contamination. The affected products were sold exclusively on July 5, 2026, at their Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville location.

They were sold in styrofoam trays covered with clear plastic wrap and were refrigerated.

The recall, classified as Class I, was voluntarily initiated by the company in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (MAPAQ).
