French dairy company, Fromageries Pochat et Fils, has voluntarily recalled its Demi Reblochon de Savoie cheese due to the presence of E.coli STEC strain O103:H2. The product was distributed nationwide through Carrefour stores. The issue was discovered after routine testing revealed the presence of the E.coli strain.The recalled product is:
- Pochat Pointe Percee, specifically the Demi-reblochon variety.
- The cheese is packaged under film and weighs 230 grams.
- The affected batch carries the GTIN 3294580944275
- Lot number 145184212
- Best before date of 14/06/2024.
- The product was sold between 23/05/2024 and 24/05/2024.
Consumers are advised not to consume the product and return it where they purchased it.
