Health Alert For Chicken Empanada Products due to undeclared allergen

Rajbhog Foods (NJ), Inc. is facing a public health alert issued by the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) due to misbranding and an undeclared allergen in their frozen Chicken Curry Empanadas. The product may contain Apple Cinnamon Empanadas, which include milk, a known allergen not declared on the label. These items were shipped to Walmart locations nationwide in USA.The frozen empanada products recalled were produced on November 14, 2024, and packaged on November 20 and 21, 2024. They are sold in 9.6-oz. cardboard packages labeled as "bettergoods TRADITIONALLY CRAFTED Chicken Curry Empanadas" with "BEST BY: 05/21/26" or "BEST BY: 05/22/26" and "EST. P33967" on the side of the box.
FSIS is concerned that some product may be in consumers' freezers. Consumers who have purchased these products are urged not to consume them. These products should be returned to the place of purchase.
