Hershey Creamery Co. has initiated a voluntary recall of its Green Mint Chip ice cream due to elevated coliform counts found during routine testing. The product was distributed to Delaware, New York, Florida, Maryland, Indiana, North Carolina, and Ohio in the United States.The recalled product is:
- Hershey's Ice Cream Green Mint Chip
- Packaged in bulk 3-gallon cans.
- The affected lot number is 25223M
- With SKU 24682-05020
- Consecutive count 499-6100.
- A total of 81 cans are involved in this recall.
The issue was discovered during routine testing, leading to a Class II recall. The recall was initiated on August 19, 2025, and classified on September 11, 2025. The recall is currently ongoing.
