CFIA has issued a recall for Locally Baked Outlet's Keto Salted Caramel Cupcakes due to undeclared peanut. The recalled product is distributed in Nova Scotia. There has been one reported reaction associated with the consumption of this product.The Product recalled is the Keto Salted Caramel Cupcakes come in a pack of three with the UPC code 0 33204 92117 8. The affected products have a "Frozen Best Before" date of November 10, 2024, and a "Refrigeration Best Before" date of July 15, 2024.
The CFIA has classified this as a Class 2 recall, indicating a situation where the use of, or exposure to, a violative product may cause temporary adverse health consequences or where the probability of serious adverse health consequences is remote.
Consumers who have purchased these cupcakes are advised not to consume them if they are allergic or sensitive to peanuts, as it may cause a serious or life-threatening reaction. The cupcakes should be returned to the location where they were purchased.
