Kula Brands LLC is recalling Kula Can - Pina Colada + Kratom Seltzer due to the presence of undeclared tree nuts (coconut) and milk. Product was distributed through retail stores, mail order, and direct delivery beginning on 7/10/2023 in the United States. No illnesses have been reported to date.People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to tree nuts (coconut) and/or milk, run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume this product.
The recalled Kula Can brand Pina Colada + Kratom Seltzer is packaged in 12 oz cans with UPC CODE: 371334085880 and LOT NUMBER: U17831532PNCL.
The recall was initiated after it was discovered that product containing (the allergen) was distributed in packaging that did not reveal the presence of tree nuts (coconut) and milk. Subsequent investigation indicates the problem was caused by a temporary breakdown in the company's production and packaging processes.
Consumers who have purchased the product should return to the place of purchase for a full refund.
