Sans Marque has issued a recall for its Laguiole 6 mois cheese, lot 23199, due to the presence of Escherichia coli shiga toxinogène (STEC). The product was distributed across France through various outlets.The recall was initiated after the detection of STEC strain O26:H11, which can cause severe health issues including bloody diarrhea, abdominal pain, vomiting, and in some cases, severe kidney complications.
The recalled product is:
- Laguiole 6 mois, a fresh packaged cheese.
- GTIN 93321271195586.
- The lots affected have best-before dates of 02/05/2024 and 03/05/2024.
- The cheese is sold in approximately 200g portions.
- The product was available for sale from 19/03/2024 until 18/04/2024.
If you have this product at home, do not consume it and return it to the store where it was purchased.
