Ardagh is recalling its Lighter Grated Mild Red & Mozzarella cheese due to potential contamination with Listeria monocytogenes. The affected product was distributed in Aldi stores across Ireland.The recalled cheese is:
- Sold under the Ardagh brand
- Packaged in 200g sizes
- With the approval number IE 1099 EC.
- It includes batch codes A, B, C, and D
- With a best-before date of 30/11/2025.
The issue was identified on October 2, 2025, and the recall is classified as Category 1
