March 25th, 2026:
Albertsons Companies LLC has initiated a voluntary recall of Lucerne 2% Cottage Cheese due to potential contamination with metal fragments. The product was distributed in Alaska, Idaho, California, Oregon, and Washington.

AFFECTED PRODUCT

PRODUCT: Lucerne 2% Cottage Cheese 2% Milkfat Small Curd Vitamin A Added Grade A
- Packaged in 24-ounce tubs
- With a UPC code of 0 21130 07662 8
- A best-before date of March 31, 2026.
- A total of 12,222 tubs are affected.

The recall, classified as Class II, was initiated on March 16, 2026, after the discovery of metal fragments in the product. The classification date was March 25, 2026.
