October 15th, 2025:
Meadow Gold Dairy has issued a recall for its half-pint chocolate milk due to potential quality control issues. The product, marked with an October 16, 2025, expiration date, was distributed primarily to schools across Hawai‘i, including O‘ahu, Maui, and Kauai.
The recalled chocolate milk is:
- Identified by the Meadow Gold brand
- Packaged in half-pint containers
- With the expiration date “OCT 16” printed on top.
- Approximately 70,000 units are affected by this recall
- Which were distributed starting September 29, 2025.
The recall was initiated after quality concerns were identified. Meadow Gold is actively contacting establishments that received the affected product. The recall was announced by the Hawai‘i Department of Health and is currently classified as voluntary.
