FDA announced the recall of frozen hard-boiled egg products by Meijer on the salad bars at two of their stores in Grand Rapids, Michigan due to a potential Listeria contamination. There are no illnesses reported linked to this recall. This recall originated after their supplier, Almark Foods, recalled several lots of Hard-Boiled Eggs products because they might be contaminated with Listeria.FDA advises not to consume these products and return them to any Meijer store for a full refund. The product subject to recall is the following:
- Diced Eggs Frozen (5 Lb). UPC: 79379900993. Sold between Oct. 25th, 2019, and Dec. 23th, 2019.
These products were sold in these stores:
- Meijer (Knapps Corner) 1997 East Beltline Avenue Northeast, Grand Rapids, MI, USA
- Meijer (Rockford) 2799 10 Mile Rd NE, Rockford, MI, USA
