Merguez Affrais Sausage recalled due to Salmonella

The Atelier Forezien du Frais has voluntarily recalled its Affrais brand Merguez meat product, sold in 10kg bulk packages, due to a suspected presence of salmonella. These products were sold across France at distributors including Grand Frais, Provenc'Halles, Boucherie Tinel, Carrefour, Intermarche, and Casino. The recall procedure will end on June 15, 2024.

The recall affects products are:

- Lot Number: 143/9003
- Use-by date 05/31/2024

- Lot Number: 144/9003
- Use-by date 06/01/2024

- Lot Number: 145/9003
- Use-by date 02/06/2024

The model names or references are 5550- MERGUE BULK 10kg
These products were sold between May 22 and May 31, 2024.

Consumers are advised not to consume the product and to return it to the point of purchase.
