Merguez X5 Affrais Sausages recalled due to Salmonella

Atelier Forezien du Frais has voluntarily recalled its Affrais brand Merguez X5 meat product due to a suspected presence of salmonella. The product was distributed across France by Mangeons Frais from May 24 to May 31, 2024.

The recalled product is:
- Merguez X5 under the Affrais brand
- With references 78066 and 78029.
- The product is sold vacuum-sealed and should be kept refrigerated.
- Batch affected: 145/9003 with a best-before date of June 13, 2024
- Batch affected: 148/9003 with a best-before date of June 16, 2024.

Consumers are advised to not consume the product and return it to the point of purchase.
