Kradjian Importing Company, Inc. has initiated a voluntary recall of its MID EAST Jordanian Zaatar spice mix due to undeclared allergen ingredients, specifically sesame and wheat. The product was distributed to bakeries across US for further processing into various Zaatar breads and pastries.

- Packaged in 5-pound plastic bags
- With the UPC 094379607038.
- It was packed by Propack Inc. in Sunvalley, CA.
- A total of 4,400 pounds of the spice mix is affected.
- The recall is identified by the number H-0576-2026.

The issue was discovered due to incorrect labeling of allergen ingredients. The recall was initiated on March 6, 2026, and classified as a Class I recall on March 18, 2026. The recall is currently ongoing.
