Polish dairy company Mlekpol has issued a recall for its Zloty Mazur Cheese In Slices due to potential Salmonella Newport contamination. The recall affects a single batch of the product, which has been distributed widely.

The product recalled is the Mlekpol Zloty Mazur Cheese In Slices, sold in 150g packs. The batch code for the recalled product is 30.08/P6, with a best-before date of 28/11/2024. The approval number for the product is PL 20041601WE.

Wholesalers/distributors are requested to contact their affected customers and recall the implicated batch and provide a point-of-sale recall notice to their retailer customers. Retailers are requested to remove the implicated batch from sale and display a recall notice at point-of-sale. Consumers are advised not to eat the implicated batch.
