Mung Beans recalled due to Presence of Thiamethoxam-PESTICIDE

LUBNA QUALITY PRODUCTS INC. is recalling its Mung Beans due to the presence of Thiamethoxam pesticide. The affected product was distributed in Texas and Louisiana in the United States. The recall was voluntarily initiated by the company and is currently ongoing.

The recalled product includes:
- Mung Beans
- Packaged in 4lb polybags
- With 6 bags per carton.
- Lot JAN 2025
- Batch KI/050122.
- A total of 400 cases are involved in this recall.

The issue was discovered through internal testing. The recall was initiated on January 15, 2026, and classified as Class III on February 24, 2026.
