Muscle Nation Supplements Pty Ltd has issued a recall for its Custard Protein Bar Cookies and Cream 60g due to an undeclared allergen (gluten) on the outer display box. The product, labeled incorrectly as "gluten-free," was sold at Coles and Woolworths stores in NSW, ACT, QLD, VIC, TAS, SA, and WA, and online via Amazon across Australia.AFFECTED PRODUCTS:
- Muscle Nation Custard Protein Bar Cookies and Cream 60g
- With best-before dates of 08/12/26 and 09/12/26.
- The recall applies only to bars in boxes claiming "gluten-free."
- The protein bars themselves have correct labeling.
The recall was initiated after the labeling error was discovered. It is classified as a food safety hazard for individuals with gluten allergies or intolerances. The recall was announced on October 30, 2025.
