Natural Mushrooms is conducting a recall of Enoki Mushrooms due to an incorrect use by date resulting in an increased Listeria monocytogenes risk. The product has been available for sale at Asian Grocery Stores in Victoria, Australia.- Affected product:
Natural Mushrooms Enoki Mushrooms. Date markings: Use By 13/07/2023
Food Standards Australia & New Zealand recommends avoid consuming this product and return the products to the place of purchase for a full refund.
Listeria monocytogenes may cause severe illness in pregnant women, unborn babies, neonates, the elderly, and immunocompromised individuals. The general population can also become ill from consuming food contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.
