Update January 6th, 2025:
UK food safety authorities have issued an update to the Nestlé SMA infant formula recall. The update does not include any new products, batch codes, or best-before dates.

The January 6 update was issued solely to improve the formatting and presentation of the original notice. The scope of the recall remains unchanged from the alert first issued on 5 January 2026.

Consumers should continue to follow the original recall guidance and avoid using affected products due to the possible presence of cereulide toxin, which can cause nausea, vomiting, and abdominal cramps.
