In a voluntary recall, the brands Neutre, Medina, and Le Gaulois have announced a recall of their Saucisse crue 100 % volaille due to the detection of salmonella on the finished product. The product was distributed across France. The recall is expected to end on Saturday, October 19, 2024.The recalled product includes:
- Four models:
BQ 20 SAUC 100% VOL NAT S/ATM GAUL (reference 00038283)
BQ 48 SAUC. VOLAILLE S/ATM CP (reference 00038318)
BQ 48 SAUCISSE VOL 40-60G SAT MEDINA (reference 00061617)
CHIPO NATURE HALAL X20 SAT CP (reference 00005099).
- The products are:
GTIN: 3266980382834 / Batch: 9774000268 / Expiry date 08/10/2024
GTIN: 3378740383187 / Batch: 9774000268 / Expiry date 08/10/2024
GTIN: 3378740616179 / Batch: 9774000268 / Expiry date 08/10/2024

- Were sold between 24/09/2024 and 28/09/2024.
- The product was packed in a tray in a protective atmosphere.
- Product to be kept in the refrigerator.
- Health Mark: FR 69.135.001 CE
- The product sold in RHD.
The problem was discovered through routine testing which revealed the presence of salmonella on the finished product. Salmonella can cause serious and sometimes fatal
