North Carolina, United States

Martin Bauer, Inc., based in Secaucus, NJ, has initiated a voluntary recall of its Passionflower Herb Powdered Extract 4% due to misbranding. The product was distributed to one consignee in North Carolina in the United States.

The recalled product is:

- Packaged in bulk as individual large boxes made of corrugated cardboard with a plastic liner.
- It is identified by Manufacturing Finzelberg Item: 0171319MBU
- Batch: 24008914
- Manufactured on September 25, 2024.
- A total of 775 kg is affected.

The recall was initiated on July 22, 2025, and classified as Class II on August 26, 2025. The issue was discovered through internal review, and the firm notified the consignee via email. The recall is ongoing.
