June 10th, 2026:
Mothers' Milk Bank of Louisiana at Ochsner Baptist has initiated a voluntary recall of its Pasteurized Donor Human Milk due to potential physical contamination. The product, distributed in Louisiana, USA, may contain a dark spot on the bottom of the container.
AFFECTED PRODUCT
PRODUCT: MMB of Louisiana Pasteurized Donor Human Milk
- Packaged in 3 oz clear plastic bottles with white plastic caps.
- It is labeled with batch numbers 002307-1 and 002307-2
- Has an expiration date of August 24, 2026.
- A total of 32 bottles are included in this recall.
The issue was identified when a dark spot was observed on the container's bottom. The recall, classified as Class III, was initiated on June 3, 2026, and classified on June 9, 2026.
