Anderson Candy Company, LLC has initiated a voluntary recall of its peanut rounds due to an undeclared soy allergen. The affected products were distributed across several states in the United States, including Oklahoma, Louisiana, Texas, Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, Arizona, Alabama, Mississippi, and Tennessee.The recall involves:
- Peanut rounds
- Available in 2.25 oz and 3 oz sizes.
- These products have a manufactured date on or before July 8, 2025
- A best-by date of February 15, 2026, or earlier.
- Approximately 960,000 units are affected
- Under recall number H-0578-2025.
The issue was identified internally, leading to a Class II recall initiated on August 15, 2025, with the classification date set on September 10, 2025. The recall is ongoing, and notifications were sent via multiple communication methods.
