Producers and Merchants, a French dairy company, has voluntarily recalled its Abondance AOP cheese due to the presence of E. coli STEC. The product was distributed across France through Intermarché stores.

The recalled product is:
- Packaged in Half Wheel.
- Sold under the brand name Producers and Merchants.
- The cheese, with a GTIN of 3250393401640
- Was sold in half-wheel portions between June 20, 2024, and July 11, 2024.
- The best-before date is September 1, 2024.
- Product to be kept in the refrigerator
- Sale by the cut in the traditional department

Consumers are advised not to consume the product and to return it to the point of purchase.
