Ferme IRIGOINIA, a dairy company, has voluntarily recalled its raw sheep's milk cheese due to a Listeria monocytogenes contamination. The product was distributed in the Landes and Pyrenees-Atlantiques departments through various outlets including Intermarché, Netto, Carrefour, restaurants, resellers, and caterers. The recall was initiated after the detection of Listeria monocytogenes. The contamination was discovered through routine testing by the company.The recalled product is:
- Brand's whole cheese in 1kg and 3kg portions.
- Sold under the Ferme IRIGOINIA label.
- The cheese was sold in vacuum-sealed portions and in baskets with a 500g portion of raw sheep's milk cheese and a pot of black cherry jam.
- The product's lot numbers are all included in the recall, with a minimum durability date between April 20, 2024, and June 30, 2024.
- The cheese was sold between February 1, 2024, and April 30, 2024
- Is marked with the health mark FR 64.256.104 CE.
