Ready-to-Eat Sushi, Salads and Spring Rolls recalled due to Listeria concerns on the East Coast

FDA published the voluntary recall of ready to eat sushi, salads and spring rolls by Fuji Food Products, Inc. sold under the names Okami, FujiSan, and more because they might be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. No illnesses have been linked to this recall so far.FDA advises consumers who have purchased any of the recalled products to discard them immediately. According to the recall notice, the products are packed in plastic trays with clear lids and with the "Sell-by" dates on the labels. The products were sold at 7 Eleven, Walgreens, Food Lion, Hannaford, Trader Joe’s, Giant Eagle Supermarkets, Porkys, Bozzutos, Supreme Lobster, and Superior Foods. ALso were distributed to the following states: AL, CT, DE, FL, GA, IL, IN, IA, KS, KY, ME, MD, MA, MI, MN, MS, MO, NE, NH, NJ, NY, NC, OH, PA, RI, SC, TN, VT, VA, DC, WV, and WI.
